February 18th and why the movie is on hold

Kiersten White recently tweeted that we should mark down February 18th in our calendar The tweet was tagged with #Supernaturally.

"Y'all might want to mark February 18th on your calendars. No reason in particular... #supernaturally #waitdidthathashtaggiveitaway" Jan 28
"For those wondering, #Supernaturally comes out this August or September. But on February 18th, I'll be revealing... DOT DOT DOT ... DOT ." Jan 28

Let the speculation begin, what will be revealed on February 18th? Personally, I'm guessing the cover, which, if it is, makes me very exited. What do you think?

And today Kiersten told us why we haven't heard any news about the Paranormalcy movie. Apparently they are trying to find a screenwriter at the moment. Let's hope they'll find him/her soon.

Win a signed Paranormalcy: UK edition

Kiersten White just announced that she will give away a signed copy of Paranormalcy, UK edition. The contest takes place on twitter and facebook and it is open internationally so don't miss out.

If you want to enter via twitter:
Tell Kiersten (@kierstenwhite) your favorite owner of a voice with a British accent, fictional or not. (Kiersten adds I use the term "British" loosely. Scottish & Irish totally count, as do Australian & NZ, since this is their edition, too.)
You MUST use the hashtag #ParanormalcyUK and there will be a random winner.

For example:
@kierstenwhite Eddie Redmayne #ParanormalcyUK

If you want to enter via facebook:
Go to Kiersten White's official facebook page and comment on the A contest! A contest! image. Once again, the question she wants answered is who is your favorite owner of an English, Welsh, Scottish, Irish, Australian, or New Zealand accent?

Deadline is tomorrow, 12:00 PM Pacific Time

Of course you have to follow Kiersten on twitter, and "like" her facebook page. But you already do that, don't you?

Good Luck!

Supernaturally: The first line

If you're following Kiersten White's every twittering as obsessively as I am, this won't be news for you. But if you're one of those who follow more people than you're able to keep track of, I'm here to make sure you don't miss out on the very first line of Supernaturally:

"Oh, bleep. I was going to die." Jan 20

Kiersten even revealed the first chapter name: Out of the Blue Jan 20

If you're curious about what other tidbits she shared, check out our Supernaturally page or head on over to Kiersten White's twitter to hear (read) it straight from the source.

August/September just can't arrive fast enough.

Tweets about Para #3

Just woke up to another of Kiersten Whites Para#3 tweets and realised I hadn't added any of them to the Paranormalcy #3 page yet. That problem has now been fixed, sorry for the delay.

And todays tweet read:

Supernaturally isn't even out yet and she already has me excited about Para #3.

Para in UK and Russia, and new teaser from Supernaturally

It's January 6th, which means that Paranormalcy is now out in the UK in a really shiny paperback version.

UK version on the right.
But that is not all. Yesterday, Kiersten tweeted another one of those quote teasers we love so much.
"Why would I ever want a lusty tree nymph when I could have a hyperventilating Evie?" was quickly added to the Supernaturally-page.
What do you think? Is it being said by someone we already know? Come speculate with us over on the forum.

And last, but not least, the Russian cover of Paranormalcy has been revealed.
Thanks to Kiersten White herself for letting us know.

What do you think? Google Translate claims the title is Predicting the elves. Do we have any russian-speaking readers who can confirm that?
