Kiersten White in Daily Herald

The Daily Herald posted an interview with Kiersten White about a week ago. She talks about the pressure in writing a sequel to a book that hit the New York Times Best Seller List, and her reaction when she found out about Paranormalcy being on the list.

She was with her father in the car when she got the call her book had hit the best seller list. She was so excited she started hitting him.
Her father, Patrick White, said, "I was so thrilled for her. She started writing stories when she was just a little girl. Of course, I am prejudiced, but I thought they were more than great. It had been a long time for her with a lot of sad phone calls when she got rejections."
However, with "Paranormalcy" being published in more than a dozen foreign countries there is little chance that the second book in the series will not do as well.
